Tattoo Advice - What Size Should I Get?

From full body tattoos to tiny letters across the knuckles, the decision as to how big your new tattoo should be is very much up to you. For some people, the design they want will require a fair amount of space, whereas for others - the tattoo design could be placed anywhere on the body.

Let's take for example an eagle. Due to the fact that eagles are quite intricate things to draw, tattoo artists need a fair amount of space to be able to get these details in to the tattoo. If not, things could look squashed and blurry.

Of course, this is only a concern if you have such a design. The other things you will need to think of are cost, time and pain. Large tattoos can cost quite a substantial amount of money, and may require a number of sessions to complete. Additionally, if you are not too good with pain, or if you can't take pain for an extended period of time, large tattoos may be off the agenda for now.
